I first opted to use the word met but I realized that encounter is more appropriate as I have not talked to a stranger (yet) in a coffee shop.
I encounter this couple a few months back. I don’t know if they remember me. The guy is a lawyer. I remember being reprimanded by him for reasons I can’t recall. And then his wife apologetically told me to not mind his husband. “Abogado kasi” she said. Haha.
Don’t take it wrong. They are nice. I actually find the experience funny.
Will I be this grumpy when I’m already at his age? This thought came to me.
