Tourists viewing the superstar of the museum – “The Spolarium” which was created by the famed Filipino painter / hero Juan Luna.
The facial expression of the mother tellls something. Maybe apprehension?
Again. The facial expression. It’s as if something bad will happen to her after entering that door.
Sculpture by Rizal. I love how it conveys a story. It’s called “Revenge of a Mother” or something like that.
The Manunggul burial jar. This sculpture is important because it’s a proof of the pre-Hispanic Filipino’s belief of the afterlife.
First thing that crossed my mind after seeing this: I hope that this Arch was materialized. Like the arches in Paris.
I never thought you can use jade plus bronze as a medium. Impressive.
